Nomi, I'm a little confused about something. Previously you said that both SLV and GLD are backed by physical metal (I was asking at the time if either GLD or IAU was fully backed by physical gold), but in this article you mention that SLV "... has been bleeding outflows" while PSLV and SIVR "...have been pulling in capital. Investors are increasingly choosing funds with more direct physical backing..."

This makes me think that SLV and GLD are not quite as fully backed by physical gold as these other funds. I do have positions in both SLV and GLD, so now I'm wondering if I should move the SLV position into one of the other two funds you mentioned and if I might be better off moving my GLD positions into physical, vault secured gold such as through Bullion Star. I think of gold and silver as insurance, but if it's not actually backed by physical gold then it won't truly be insurance.

I would very much appreciate your thoughts on this.

Sincerely, Howard Rubin

This makes sense. Create the supply chain that forces ore to be sold to China and prevent it being refined elsewhere
